<h2>315. PRESENCE OF GOD WITH DAVID</h2>

<p>"The Lord was with David" (<a id="fem315-si1" onclick="return mV('1Sa',18,12,14,28);">1Sa 18:12, 14, 28</a>). All that David had achieved, and all that He was, were due to the presence of the Lord. The secret of David's greatness (<a id="fem315-si2" onclick="return mV('2Sa',5,10);">2Sa 5:10</a>), the cause of his victories (<a id="fem315-si3" onclick="return mV('2Sa',22,30);">2Sa 22:30</a>), the source of his overcoming Goliath (<a id="fem315-si4" onclick="return mV('1Sa',17,45);">1Sa 17:45</a>), the reason of his wise behaviour (<a id="fem315-si5" onclick="return mV('1Sa',18,14);">1Sa 18:14</a>), and the strength of his comfort (<a id="fem315-si6" onclick="return mV('Psa',23,4);">Psa 23:4</a>), were all found in the Lord's presence with him. To recognise God's presence with us means:—</p>
