csb[1] = "The Pharisees and some of the scribes who had come from Jerusalem gathered around him.";
csb[2] = "They observed that some of his disciples were eating bread with unclean -- that is, unwashed -- hands.";
csb[3] = "(For the Pharisees and all the Jews do not eat unless they give their hands a ceremonial washing, keeping the tradition of the elders.";

csb[26] = "The woman was a Gentile, a Syrophoenician by birth, and she was asking him to cast the demon out of her daughter.";
