<p><em>Born:</em> December 13, 1846, Jersey, United Kingdom.</p>
<p class="just">Janvrin worked extensively with the Church Missionary Society (CMS) and associated organizations, writing a hymn for the CMS&#8217; anniversary annually for at least 10 years. In 1903, she edited the letters of Bishop Ridley of New Caledonia, which were published as <em>Snapshots from the North Pacific</em>.</p>
