<p><em>Died:</em> December 20, 1550, Strassburg, Germany, of the plague.</p>
<p>Greiter was a singer and monk in the monastery at Strassburg Minster. He became a Lutheran minister there in 1524, but later returned to Roman Catholicism. His works include:</p>
