<p><em>Died:</em> November 8, 1874, Forest Hill, London, England.</p>
|
|
<p class="just">After studying history at Highbury College, London, Conder became co-pastor of High Wycombe Congregational Church in 1845. In 1849, he succeeded Winter Hamilton as minister of Belgrave Chapel in Leeds, England. He afterward moved to Cheetham Hill, Manchester, in 1864, and Queen’s Road, Forest Hill, London, in 1870. While in Leeds, he helped compile the <em>Leeds Hymn Book</em> in 1853; he published an

appendix to it in 1874.</p>
