|

<p>1.<b>Who to ask―</b></p>
|
|
<p><b>Our Heavenly Father.</b> "Whatsoever ye shall <i>ask</i> of the <i>Father</i> in My name" (<a id="fem22-si1" onclick="return mV('Jhn',15,16);">Jhn 15:16</A>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>How to ask―</b></p>
|
|
<ul type="none">
|
|
<li>In the name of Christ. "Whatsoever ye shall <i>ask</i> in <i>My name</i>, I will do it" (<a id="fem22-si2" onclick="return mV('Jhn',14,13);">Jhn 14:13</A>).</li>
|
|
<li>In the power of the Spirit. "Likewise the <i>Spirit</i> also <i>helpeth</i> our infirmities" (<a id="fem22-si3" onclick="return mV('Rom',8,26);">Rom 8:26</A>; <a id="fem22-si4" onclick="return mV('Eph',2,18);">Eph 2:18</A>).</li>

<li>In faith. "And all things, whatsoever ye shall <i>ask</i> in prayer, <i>believing</i>, ye shall receive" (<a id="fem22-si5" onclick="return mV('Mat',21,22);">Mat 21:22</A>; <a id="fem22-si6" onclick="return mV('Jam',1,6);">Jam 1:6</A>).</li>

<p>3. <b>What to ask for―</b></p>
|
|

|
|
<li><b>Help</b> of the Lord. "And Judah gathered themselves together, to <i>ask help of the Lord</i>" (<a id="fem22-si7" onclick="return mV('2Ch',20,4);">2Ch 20:4</a>).</li><li><b>Fulness</b> of the Spirit. "How much more shall your heavenly Father give the <i>Holy Spirit</i> to them that <i>ask</i> Him" (<a id="fem22-si8" onclick="return mV('Luk',11,1136);">Luk 11:13</a>).</li>

|
<li>Fulness of <b>joy</b>. "<i>Ask</i>, and ye shall receive, that your <i>joy</i> may be <i>full</i>" (<a id="fem22-si9" onclick="return mV('Jhn',16,24);">Jhn 16:24</A>).</li>
|
|
<li><b>Wisdom.</b> "If any of you lack <i>wisdom</i>, let him <i>ask</i> of God" (<a id="fem22-si10" onclick="return mV('Jam',1,5);">Jam 1:5</A>).</li>

<li><b>Anything.</b> "If ye shall <i>ask anything</i> in My name, I will do it" (<a id="fem22-si11" onclick="return mV('Jhn',14,14);">Jhn 14:14</A>).</li>

<p>4. <b>The Condition―</b></p>
|
|

<li>Abiding in Christ. "If ye <i>abide</i> in Me, and My words abide in you, ye shall <i>ask</i> what ye will" (<a id="fem22-si12" onclick="return mV('Jhn',15,7);">Jhn 15:7</A>; <a id="fem22-si13" onclick="return mV('1Jo',3,22);">1Jo 3:22</a>).</li>

<p>5. <b>Encouragements to ask―</b></p>

<li>Promise of Christ. "I say unto you, whatsoever ye shall <i>ask</i> the Father in My name, <i>He will give it</i>" (<a id="fem22-si14" onclick="return mV('Jhn',16,23);">Jhn 16:23</a>).</li>
