<h2>114. DEITY OF CHRIST</h2>
|
|
<p>1. GOD the Father <b>affirmed</b> it. "This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased" (<a id="fem114-si1" onclick="return mV('Mat',3,17);">Mat 3:17</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. Christ <b>proclaimed</b> it. "Tell us whether Thou be the Christ, the Son of God." "Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said" (<a id="fem114-si2" onclick="return mV('Mar',26,26,63,64);">Mat 26:63-64</a>; <a id="fem114-si3" onclick="return mV('Mar',14,61,62);">Mar 14:61-62</a>).</p>

|
<p>3. The angel <b>asserted</b> it to Mary. "That holy thing, which shall be born of thee, shall be called the Son of God" (<a id="fem114-si4" onclick="return mV('Luk',1,35);">Luk 1:35</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. John the Baptist <b>announced</b> it. "And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God" (<a id="fem114-si5" onclick="return mV('Jhn',1,34);">Jhn 1:34</a>).</p>

<p>5. A legion of demons <b>knew</b> it. "What have we to do with Thee, Jesus, Thou Son of God?" (<a id="fem114-si6" onclick="return mV('Mar',8,29);">Mat 8:29</a>).</p>

<p>10. The Eunuch <b>believed</b> it. "I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God" (<a id="fem114-si11" onclick="return mV('Act',8,37);">Act 8:37</a>).</p>

<p>11. Paul <b>preached</b> it. "He preached Christ in the synagogues, that He is the Son of God" (<a id="fem114-si12" onclick="return mV('Act',9,20);">Act 9:20</a>).</p>
