<p>Before Bible study begins, the proper tools are needed. This includes a good study Bible, a concordance, and a Bible dictionary.</p>

<p><b>Good Study Bible</b>
|
|
<p>First, a good study Bible is recommended. This means the translation has notes that help to explain difficult terms and concepts. It must be stressed, however, that only the Scriptures are error-free—this is not true with the explanatory notes found in Bible translations no matter how helpful they are to the believer.</p>

<p><b>Concordance</b>
|
|
<p>A concordance is a book that lists every word found in the Bible and then lists each verse in which that word is found. Therefore someone can use a concordance and look up a verse when only one word is remembered.</p>

<p><b>Bible Dictionary</b>

|
<p>A Bible dictionary is also useful. The dictionary will list different words and subjects found in the Bible and then give a definition of them. This can be extremely helpful because many of the customs found in Scripture are no longer practiced today.</p>
