<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: One of the basic questions of man, "If a man dies, does he go on living?". Many look at death as the end, nothing beyond. The Christian hopes for eternal life.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THE BASIS FOR THAT HOPE.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. The promises of God 1:2.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "And this is the record, God has."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "For God so loved the world..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. "I am the resurrection and the life."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. First our bodies must be changed.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. "Flesh & blood cannot inherit..."</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">b. "This corruption must put on..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. This will take place at the coming of Jesus Christ for you (death or rapture).</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">d. "For our citizenship is in heaven..."</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">e. "I show you a mystery."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. A life of changed values.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level4">a. That which is highly esteemed here worthless, there diamonds.</div>
