<div class="SSN_level2">C. This day happens to be 173,880 days since Artexeres gave Nehemiah the commandment to restore and rebuild Jerusalem.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">5. Only the humble faithful band of followers are believing and rejoicing.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">6. The scene is perennial. You stand in one of the crowds, which one?</div>

|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He is despised and rejected of men.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Before the week is over, the Messiah will be "cut off."</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. Larger crowds will be crying.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. We have no King but Caesar.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Away with Him, Crucify Him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">G. God had promised a day of salvation, and we must admit God kept His promise.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">1. They refused to accept it.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. God cannot be faulted for their coming calamity.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">3. Their choice of Caesar as their King was to have tragic consequences.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_rnum">III. THE WEEPING KING - VS. 41.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Why does the King cry?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Does He cry because His feelings are hurt by their rejection?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Does He cry out of rage from their humiliating Him?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. He cries because He can see into the future.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. He can see the horrible price they must pay for their ignorance. "Thou knewest not..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He sees the city lying desolate, the buildings leveled, the stench of the decaying bodies of the children.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Their day had come, but for whatever reason they rejected their King and ultimately paid the horrible price for their folly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. This is your day, the King stands before you, He calls you to His Kingdom.</div>
|
|
