<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: Few things are more awesome than an earthquake. When the "terra firma" is not so "firma" it gets rather terrifying. Sylmar and freeway destruction.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THE GREAT SHAKING YET TO COME. "YET ONCE MORE."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Many prophecies concerning a final great earthquake.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Rev. speaks of mountains and islands being moved and heaven departing as a scroll.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. <a onClick="return mV('Isa',24,19);">Isa. 24:19</a> talks of the earth reeling to and fro like a drunkard and being moved.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">3. Scientist talking about San Andres fault only local situation.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">4. Physicists talk of polar axis flip.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Many times God begins to shake our personal little worlds.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. We begin to take things for granted.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. We grow careless in the important things.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. We begin to spend our money for that... "and our labor for that which satisfieth..."</div>
|

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. WHO IS DOING THE SHAKING? "I WILL SHAKE."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. God's hand is behind the shaking.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. God's method is often that of tearing down before He builds again.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. To Jeremiah "Root out, pull down, destroy, to throw down, to build, to plant."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Many times we have built on wrong foundations.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Such a building is dangerous.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Does it seem that God is shaking your life today?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. All you were seeking to build sort of crumbled around you?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. On what type of foundation were you seeking to build?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Materialistic?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Selfish?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. THE PURPOSE OF THE SHAKING.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. "The removing of those things that are shaken."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. God desires to teach us true values.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Our sense of values so often twisted.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. We pity the Indians who traded gold and silver for glass beads. Yet we often are guilty of trading the priceless treasures for a moment's pleasure.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. God shakes our world to show us the true and real values.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. They are deeper than the material.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. We look not on the things which are seen, but the things which are not. Why?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. "By faith Moses..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "That the unshakeables might remain."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. God desires to build His eternal Kingdom on the earth.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Based on righteousness and love.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Necessary to shake down the governments man has built based on power and greed.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. We see governments being shaken today.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. We see a shaky economy.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">3. Our educational systems being shaken built on rotten planks.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. God is preparing to remove the effete.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Now abide these three: faith, hope, love.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. What man will still be standing when all else have fallen? The man of faith.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. The purpose of God's shaking is never utter destruction, but permanent building.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_notes">He wants to establish His Kingdom that can never be moved. Haggai says "Then shall the desire of the nations be come." The King is coming; The King has already come, and now reigns in my heart.</div>
