<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: We have seen that Jesus came to reveal the Father; to give us life; to destroy the works of the devil; to seek and to save the lost. These purposes are not universally fulfilled. The same message can produce divergent results, "the preaching of the cross..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">I. IN ORDER TO FULFILL ALL THE PROPHECIES, JESUS MUST COME AGAIN.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Many O.T. prophecies of Messiah still unfulfilled.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "For unto us a child is born..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He is to bring universal peace and righteousness.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Pain and suffering are to be removed, physical maladies will be gone.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Many prophecies in N.T.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Let not your heart be troubled...</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye here...</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. And they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with great glory.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. HIS FIRST COMING WAS TO PREPARE US FOR HIS SECOND.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Not all will be allowed to enter into the Kingdom age.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Just those who are overcomers. "He that overcometh shall inherit all things."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. No defiling influence will be allowed, <a onClick="return mV('Rev',21,27);">Rev. 21:27</a>.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. He is preparing a place for me but He is also preparing me for that place.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. He has through His first coming.</div>

|

<div class="SSN_level4">b. Made provision for my weakness. How?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Made provision for my victory. How?</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. Had He not come the first time, I could not have been prepared for His second coming.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">3. I shall be changed. "Beloved I show you..."</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">III. THE FIRST COMING WAS NECESSARY TO PREPARE FOR THE SECOND COMING.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. Sin had to be dealt with.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. The second coming is necessary to fulfill the first coming.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">1. We do not yet see all His purposes fulfilled.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. Not all walk in clear light of God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Not all have the abundant life.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Not all Satan's works destroyed.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level4">d. Not all the lost are saved.</div>
