<div class="SSN_title">"HOW LONG TILL THE END?"</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: The Jewish people have endured great suffering and persecution. Many times they were conquered and subjugated by their ancient enemies. They were finally dispersed by the Assyrians and Babylonians, but a remnant returned and rebuilt from the ashes. Finally, Rome conquered and crushed the nation in 68-70. Scattered throughout the world they have been persecuted and discriminated. Spanish Inquisition, German Holocaust. Today in Russia and especially Ethiopia.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">I. DANIEL PREDICTS A TIME OF TROUBLE GREATER THAN ANYTHING IN THEIR HISTORY.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Jesus confirms this prophecy, <a onClick="return mV('Mat',24,21);">Matt. 24:21</a>.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. The book of Revelation gives great details 6-18.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. When you are suffering, time seems to stand still.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. One dominant question, "How long will this last.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. If I can see a termination point, it helps.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Daniel heard someone ask the question, "How long to the end of these matters?"</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. The answer came back, "for a time, times, and a half."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Daniel did not understand, so he repeated the question.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. "From the time the daily sacrifice is taken away and abomination of desolation set up. One thousand two hundred and ninety days."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. WHAT DOES ALL OF THIS MEAN?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. There is to rise out of Western Europe a ten nation federation.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Out of this federation will come an awesome, powerful leader.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He will come on a platform of peace, but he will be endowed with the powers of hell.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. He will make a treaty with Israel and they will rebuild the temple and reinstitute the sacrifice.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. Three and a half years after the treaty is signed he will come to Jerusalem and enter into the holy place of the temple declaring that he is God, and demand to be worshipped.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Interesting how desperately Satan desires to be worshipped.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He promised Jesus the kingdoms of this world if He would only worship him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. This event will be the trigger to mark the count down to the end.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. It will produce the great tribulation.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. God's judgment will fall upon men who refused to worship Him but are now worshipping this satanic pseudo-messiah.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. For 1290 days, the earth will be purged by cataclysm events.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">6. Then Jesus will return to the earth with His church to establish God's Kingdom on the earth.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">7. <a onClick="return mV('Mat',25,31);">Matt. 25:31</a>, Jesus will then gather the nations for judgment.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. At this judgment, it will be determined who of those who survived the great tribulation will be allowed into the Kingdom age.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. It would appear this will take 4-5 days.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">So blessed is he who comes to the 1335th day. He's in the Kingdom!</div>
