"He sat before the Lord" and worshipped. Meditate upon Grace, go where David cannot go. David understood the words of Nathan to refer to the Christ. <a onClick="return mV('Act',2,29);">Acts 2:29</a>. David was overwhelmed.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THE HUMILITY OF DAVID'S WORDS "WHO AM I, WHAT IS MY HOUSE?"</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. He came not from royal blood, "I took thee from the sheepcote."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Humble shepherd when anointed.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. DAVID'S WONDERING GRATITUDE.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. He wondered at what God had done. "What is my house?" that I should be the ancestor of Christ?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Muse on what God has done for you. Praise Him for justification, sanctification, preservation.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. What God had promised.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "Spoken of thy servants for a great while to come."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. What God has spoken for our future.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. The manner in which He gave it all.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Free grace "And is this the manner of men?"</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. DAVID'S EMOTION OF LOVE.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. Self contained love.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Praised the faithfulness of God. "For thy Word's sake."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. Praised for the greatness of the covenant blessings. "These great things."</div>
