|
|
<p>The following points illustrate how we may fulfil the injunction, "Be wise":</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Building</b>. Building on the rock in obedience to the truth (<a id="fem496-si1" onClick="return mV('Mat',7,24);">Mat 7:24</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>Receiving</b>. Receiving the truth of the Scriptures, and thus being wise unto salvation (<a id="fem496-si2" onClick="return mV('2Ti',3,15);">2Ti 3:15</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Possessing</b>. Having the oil of the grace of the Holy Spirit (<a id="fem496-si3" onClick="return mV('Mat',25,'2-5');">Mat 25:2-5</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. <b>Living</b>. Living a good life in meekness (<a id="fem496-si4" onClick="return mV('Jas',3,13);">Jas 3:13</a>, R.V.).<p>
|
|
<p>5. <b>Walking</b>. Walking carefully in the world (<a id="fem496-si5" onClick="return mV('Eph',5,15);">Eph 5:15</a>, R.V.).<p>
|
|
<p>6. <b>Dwelling</b>. Being in the environment of Christ's presence, and not being influenced by men (<a id="fem496-si6" onClick="return mV('1Co',4,10);">1Co 4:10</a>).<p>
|
|
<p>7. <b>Seeking</b>. Ever seeking the good, and thus avoiding the evil (<a id="fem496-si7" onClick="return mV('Rom',16,19);">Rom 16:19</a>).</p>
