<h2>470. "UPON"</h2>
|
|
<p>The Gospel according to "<i>Upon</i>," that is, as revolving around the preposition "<i>Epi</i>," is full of instruction.</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>The Substitute upon the Tree frees the Believer from sin's consequences.</b> "Bare our sins in His own body <i>on</i> (Epi) the tree" (<a id="fem470-si1" onClick="return mV('1Pe',2,24);">1Pe 2:24</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>The Righteousness of God upon the Believer makes him beautiful.</b> "<i>Upon</i> all them that believe" (<a id="fem470-si2" onClick="return mV('Rom',3,22);">Rom 3:22</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Being built on Christ, the Foundation makes the Believer to partake of His life.</b> "Build <i>upon</i> this foundation" (<a id="fem470-si3" onClick="return mV('1Cr',3,12);">1Cr 3:12</a>).</p>

<p>4. <b>To cast all care upon the Lord is the Believer's Privilege.</b> "Casting all your care <i>upon</i> Him" (<a id="fem470-si4" onClick="return mV('1Pe',5,7);">1Pe 5:7</a>).</p>

<p>5. <b>The Spirit of God resting upon the Believer is his Glory and Power.</b> "Spirit of God resteth <i>upon</i> you" (<a id="fem470-si5" onClick="return mV('1Pe',4,14);">1Pe 4:14</a>).</p>

<p>6. <b>The Power of Christ upon the Believer, is the Strengthener for every trial.</b> "Power of Christ may rest <i>upon</i> me" (<a id="fem470-si6" onClick="return mV('2Cr',12,9);">2Cr 12:9</a>).</p>
