<h2>248. KEEPING CHRIST'S WORDS</h2>

<p>To keep Christ's words is to evidence our love to Him. We should keep His words and commands and observe His directions—</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Faithfully,</b> as Adam was to keep the Garden of Eden (<a id="fem248-si2" onclick="return mV('Gen',2,15);">Gen 2:15</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>Constantly,</b> as the eyelid does the eye (<a id="fem248-si3" onclick="return mV('Psa',17,8);">Psa 17:8</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Wholly,</b> as the Levites kept the charge of the tabernacle (<a id="fem248-si4" onclick="return mV('Num',3,7);">Num 3:7</a>; <a id="fem248-si5" onclick="return mV('Num',31,30,47);">Num 31:30, 47</a>).</p>

<p>4. <b>Diligently</b>, as Jonathan did in looking out for David's enemies (<a id="fem248-si6" onclick="return mV('1Sa',19,2);">1Sa 19:2</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>5. <b>Vigilantly,</b> as Saul's messengers watched for David (<a id="fem248-si7" onclick="return mV('1Sa',19,11);">1Sa 19:11</a>).</p>

<p>6. <b>Attentively,</b> as we mark the example of a godly man and follow it (<a id="fem248-si8" onclick="return mV('Psa',37,37);">Psa 37:37</a>).</p>

<p>7. <b>Carefully,</b> as God did Israel in bringing them to Canaan (<a id="fem248-si9" onclick="return mV('Jos',24,17);">Jos 24:17</a>).</p>
