<h2>140. FEASTS OF JEHOVAH</h2>

<p>There are seven feasts mentioned in the twenty-third of Leviticus, all of which are typical, and especially shadow forth, in a brief way, the events from the cross to the glory.</p>
|
|
<p>1. The <b>Passover</b> is typical of Christ our Passover sacrificed for us (<a id="fem140-si1" onclick="return mV('1Cr',5,7);">1Cr 5:7</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. The <b>Unleavened Bread</b> of the holy life of the believer (<a id="fem140-si2" onclick="return mV('1Cr',5,8);">1Cr 5:8</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. The <b>Firstfruits,</b> of the resurrection of Christ (<a id="fem140-si3" onclick="return mV('1Cr',15,23);">1Cr 15:23</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. <b>Pentecost,</b> of the coming of the Holy Spirit (<a id="fem140-si4" onclick="return mV('Act',2,'1-4');">Act 2:1-4</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>5. The <b>Trumpets,</b> of the coming of Christ (<a id="fem140-si5" onclick="return mV('1Th',4,16);">1Th 4:16</a>).</p>

<p>6. The <b>Day of Atonement,</b> of the time when the Jews shall see Christ as their Atonement (<a id="fem140-si6" onclick="return mV('Zec',12,10);">Zec 12:10</a>).</p>

<p>7. The <b>Feast of Tabernacles,</b> of the rest and peace of the millennium (<a id="fem140-si7" onclick="return mV('Isa',11,1);">Isa 11</a>).</p>
