<div class="SSN_level2">A. Almost 2,000 years have now transpired since He said that:</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. What did He mean?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. God doesn't reckon time as we do.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. Peter said, "1,000 years are as a day..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. When these events transpire that He has been relating to John, He is coming quickly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. We are today nearly 2,000 years closer to His return.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. "Now is our salvation nearer than when we believed."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. We see the events Jesus and the prophets related to happening before our eyes.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. Daniel spoke of increased knowledge leading to world travel.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Jesus spoke of potential of annihilation of human race.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Ezekiel spoke of re-gathering of the Israelites into the land and the re-establishment of the nation.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. In conjunction with this, Zechariah spoke of all the nations being opposed to Israel.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. Daniel speaks of a confederate of ten European nations being the final form of world power.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">6. In Revelation, it speaks of a new world monetary system based upon an assigned number.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Also, the capacity of an event in Jerusalem being seen around the world.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. Surely He is coming quickly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. WHAT IS YOUR TRUE RESPONSE OR REACTION?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. O Lord, can't you wait a while longer?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. I have this trip planned to Hawaii.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. I just ordered a new car.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. I just purchased a new home.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. I'm planning on getting married.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. These things are all legitimate pursuits, but must be kept in proper balance.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "Amen, even so, come Lord Jesus."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He has a trip planned for you to a paradise that far exceeds Hawaii in beauty.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He has a new mode of transportation that will not break down, depreciate, or pollute the air.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. He has prepared a place for you.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. He has joys that far exceed the earthly joys of marriage when we as His bride are united with Him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. We should never be so involved with our earthly pursuits, that we cannot respond, "Amen, even so, come Lord Jesus."</div>
