<div class="SSN_level3">2. The ungodly will counsel you to forsake God</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. His principles.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. His counsel.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Advise is plentiful, good advise is scarce.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. How would you like to receive wonderful counsel?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Counsel that is totally right.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. A lot of people don't want that kind.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. They go to a counselor that he might confirm their ideas.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. They become angry and cease the counselor if he speaks the truth.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. To the Laodicean Church "I counsel thee."</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">"As many as I love I rebuke and chasten."</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">III. HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED WONDERFUL COUNSELOR.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. He who nourished and sustained the world was for a time nourished and sustained upon Mary's breasts.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">IV. HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED "THE EVERLASTING FATHER."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. Terminus or beyond the vanishing point.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Here we enter into that glorious mystery of the trinity, the three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost and these three are one."</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">V. HIS NAME SHALL BE CALLED THE PRINCE OF PEACE.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. "Think not that I am come to send peace on the earth, I came not to send peace but a sword." <a onClick="return mV('Mat',10,34);">Matt. 10:34</a>.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Some see here a contradiction not so.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">a. <a onClick="return mV('Jam',3,17);">James 3:17</a> - "The wisdom that is from above is first pure then peaceable."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">b. The sword is the instrument by which peace is brought.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">C. Peace in our individual lives.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">a. Christ first comes with a sword to cut away that which is keeping us from peace.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">b. As long as we try to hold on to some impure thing in our life we can never have peace.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">c. Purity first then peace.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">d. The contradictory paradox in world these supposed advocates of peace.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">They also advocate those very things that make peace impossible.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. Peace in the social life.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. Peace in the national life.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_divider">IS HE TO YOU ALL THAT HIS NAME IMPLIES?</div>
