<div class="SSN_title">"TRAPPED"</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THE TRAP.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Moses directed the children of Israel to turn toward the Red Sea between Pihahiroth and Baal Zephon.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. With mountains on either side and the sea in front, no place to go.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. When Pharaoh heard of it he said, "The wilderness has shut them up."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. To complicate matters, Pharaoh with his army sealed off the entrance by which they came and left no escape route.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. The men of Israel began to chide Moses.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. From the natural, a very stupid move.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. How did they get in such a treatment?</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">1. Vs. 1,2 "And the Lord spake unto Moses."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">2. God directed them into this situation.</div>
<div class="SSN_level5">a. I often hear people blame God for their mistakes.</div>
<div class="SSN_level5">b. Their pride won't allow them to admit error of judgment.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">D. Why did God lead them into a trap?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He wanted to close every possible avenue of escape but Himself.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He wanted to teach them that He can make a way even when there is no way.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. He wanted them to despair of their own human resourcefulness and trust Him.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. He wanted them to know salvation and deliverance is wholly of the Lord.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">E. "Since I turned my life over to God everything has gone wrong."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. This is not uncommon if you have been an especially clever and resourceful person.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. For years you have learned to trust your own wit.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. God is just trying to deliver you from yourself.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. MOSES'INSTRUCTIONS FOR DELIVERANCE FROM TRAP.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Do nothing!</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The thoughts that ran through their heads.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. A.A. & we followed this guy.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Moses, you out of your head.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Stand still.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. See the salvation of the Lord.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. Hold your peace.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. GOD'S DELIVERANCE FROM THE TRAP.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. The angel of God stood between them and the enemy.</div>
<div class="SSN_divider">Do you feel trapped today? All escape routes blocked?</div>
