<h2>457. TRINITY</h2>
|
|
<p>A Sevenfold light regarding the three Persons of the Godhead, is found in connection with the following truths.</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Death of Christ.</b> "How much more shall the blood of <i>Christ</i>, who through the eternal <i>Spirit</i> offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living <i>God</i>?" (<a id="fem457-si1" onclick="return mV('Hbr',9,14);">Hbr 9:14</a>).</p>

|
<p>2. <b>Resurrection of Christ.</b> "But if the <i>Spirit</i> of Him that raised up <i>Jesus</i> from the dead dwell in you, <i>He</i> that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His <i>Spirit</i> that dwelleth in you" (<a id="fem457-si2" onclick="return mV('Rom',8,11);">Rom 8:11</a>).</p>

<p>3. <b>Christ preaching.</b> "The <i>Spirit</i> of the <i>Lord</i> is upon <i>Me</i>" (<a id="fem457-si3" onclick="return mV('Luk',4,18);">Luk 4:18</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. <b>New Birth.</b> "<i>Jesus</i> answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born of water and of the <i>Spirit</i>, he cannot enter the kingdom of <i>God</i>" (<a id="fem457-si4" onclick="return mV('Jhn',3,5);">Jhn 3:5</a>).</p>

<p>5. <b>Prayer.</b> "And <i>He</i> that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the <i>Spirit</i>, because He maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of <i>God</i>" (<a id="fem457-si5" onclick="return mV('Rom',8,27);">Rom 8:27</a>).</p>

<p>6. <b>Access.</b> "For through <i>Him</i> we both have access by one <i>Spirit</i> unto the <i>Father</i>" (<a id="fem457-si6" onclick="return mV('Eph',2,18);">Eph 2:18</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>7. <b>Union.</b> "In <i>Whom</i> ye also are builded together for an habitation of <i>God</i> through the <i>Spirit</i>" (<a id="fem457-si7" onclick="return mV('Eph',2,22);">Eph 2:22</a>).</p>
