<h2>323. PUT ON</h2>
|
|
<p>1. Put Him on as <b>Jesus,</b> to save from and to the uttermost. "Jesus…able also to save them to the uttermost" (<a id="fem323-si11" onclick="return mV('Hbr',7,'22-25');">Hbr 7:22-25</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. Put Him on as <b>Lord,</b> to rule and regulate the actions. "<i>Put</i> ye <i>on</i> the Lord Jesus Christ" (<a id="fem323-si22" onclick="return mV('Rom',13,14);">Rom 13:14</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. Put Him on as <b>Christ,</b> to transform the life like His. "As many of you as have been baptised into Christ, have <i>put on</i> Christ" (<a id="fem323-si33" onclick="return mV('Gal',3,27);">Gal 3:27</a>).</p>

<p>4. Put Him on as <b>Holiness,</b> to manifest Himself. "<i>Put on</i> the new man…created in righteousness and true holiness" (<a id="fem323-si44" onclick="return mV('Eph',4,24);">Eph 4:24</a>; <a id="fem323-si55" onclick="return mV('Col',3,10);">Col 3:10</a>).</p>

<p>5. Put Him on as <b>Armour,</b> to protect in all offensive and defensive warfare. "<i>Put on</i> the whole armour of God" (<a id="fem323-si66" onclick="return mV('Eph',6,11);">Eph 6:11</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>6. Put Him on as <b>Power,</b> to act through in service. "Until ye be <i>endued</i>" (same word as "<i>put on</i>") "with power from on high" (<a id="fem323-si77" onclick="return mV('Luk',24,49);">Luk 24:49</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>7. Put Him on as <b>Light,</b> that He may be seen. "Let us <i>put on</i> the armour of Light" (<a id="fem323-si88" onclick="return mV('Rom',13,12);">Rom 13:12</a>).</p>
