<h2>275. MANIFESTATIONS OF THE LORD</h2>
|
|
<p>The Lord Jesus has told us that if we keep His words He will manifest Himself to us (<a id="fem275-si1" onclick="return mV('Jhn',14,21);">Jhn 14:21</a>). There are certain conditions which must be observed by us if we would have manifestations of, and from the Lord.</p>
|
|
<p>1. The manifestation of His <b>power</b> is conditional upon our waiting on the Lord in prayer (<a id="fem275-si2" onclick="return mV('Act',1,8,14);">Act 1:8, 14</a>; <a id="fem275-si3" onclick="return mV('Act',2,4);">Act 2:4</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. The manifestation of His <b>joy</b> is conditional upon our abiding in Christ (<a id="fem275-si4" onclick="return mV('Jhn',15,10,11);">Jhn 15:10-11</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. The manifestation of His <b>peace</b> is conditional upon carefulness for nothing, prayerfulness in everything, and thankfulness for anything (<a id="fem275-si5" onclick="return mV('Phl',4,6,7);">Phl 4:6-7</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. The manifestation of His <b>knowledge</b> is conditional upon doing God's will (<a id="fem275-si6" onclick="return mV('Jhn',7,17);">Jhn 7:17</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>5. The manifestation of His <b>purpose</b> is conditional upon walking with the Lord (<a id="fem275-si7" onclick="return mV('Psa',103,7);">Psa 103:7</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>6. The manifestation of His <b>love</b> is based upon dwelling in God (<a id="fem275-si8" onclick="return mV('1Jo',4,16);">1Jo 4:16</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>7. The manifestation of His <b>glory</b> is given to those who are taught by the Holy Spirit (<a id="fem275-si9" onclick="return mV('1Cr',2,9,10);">1Cr 2:9-10</a>).</p>
