<p>Faith is the root grace that unites the soul to the soil of God's love and power, and causes all the other graces to flourish, hence a "man full of faith" is a—</p>

<p>1. <b>Man of Prayer,</b> as Elijah was. "Elias was a man…he prayed earnestly" (<a id="fem274-si2" onclick="return mV('Jam',5,17);">Jam 5:17</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>Man of Work,</b> as Noah was. "By faith Noah…prepared an ark" (<a id="fem274-si3" onclick="return mV('Hbr',11,7);">Hbr 11:7</a>).</p>
