<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THE GRACE OF GOD TEACHES US HOW TO LIVE.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. So many today just trying to survive.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Not really living as God intended.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. The advertising media often times associates living with drinking, or boozing.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Tragic that some can't live without it.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. The first thing it teaches on how to live is soberly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Though all things are lawful to me, I will not be brought under the power of any.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Keep your mind clear.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. How sad to see someone whose mind is under the influence of:</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. Alcohol.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. Drugs.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">3. Some spiritual leader.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. I want my mind to be influenced by the Holy Spirit, nothing else.</div>

|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Next we are to live righteously.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Simply means we are to do the right thing.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. We are often tempted to do the wrong thing.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Live godly in this present world.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Have a right relationship with God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Always remember this present world was never intended as a permanent dwelling place.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. We're just passing through.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. "LOOKING FOR THAT BLESSED HOPE."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Very little hope in this world today.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Liberal politicians as liberal theologians offer only empty platitudes and lies.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Noticing their total ineptness to handle any problem so far, leaves little ground for hope.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. We see the monetary chaos and it leaves us uncertain as to the future.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Many were hoping for Jimmy Jones to lead them to a better world but he lead them to...</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. What a sad indication of our times when he offered the only hope to some people.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. What is the blessed hope?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Jesus is coming again! "The glorious appearing of our great God and our Savior Jesus Christ."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. He will establish God's kingdom on the earth.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. "Thy kingdom come."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Justice, righteousness, truth, peace, joy, love.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. I see no hope in:</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The political system.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. The monetary chaos.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. The epidemic crime rate.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. The moral breakdown.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. The judicial system.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. There is only one hope remaining for this poor, sick world.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The darker the present outlook gets, the brighter the hope appears.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. Not all will get to share in His kingdom.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Just those who are willing to acknowledge Him as King.</div>
|
