<div class="SSN_level2">A. Open willful sinners?</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">1. Blasphemers?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Lawbreakers?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">not mainly intended here.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Men who deny God's existence?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Neglect outward forms of religion.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Jest at sacred things (included but not aimed at here).</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">C. Irreligious?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. You can be religious and be ungodly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. To be religious is one thing to be godly another.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. To be godly is to recognize God in all things.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. To love, trust and serve Him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. The ungodly fails to recognize God in everyday life.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. Lives as though there was no God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He may attend church.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. No bowing at His throne.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">F. The Godly man does everything for God "For in Him we live and move and have our being."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. They seek His fellowship constantly.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. FEARFUL NEGATIVE.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. "Not so the ungodly, not so."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Vs. 3 Righteous man "like tree planted by the rivers of water...shall prosper" (not so the ungodly, not so).</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Not like a tree planted.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. Like tree planted by chance in desert Compare tree planted and wild tree.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. Planted by rivers of water.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level6">a. roots go down to perennial supply (not so the ungodly, not so).</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level6">b. What a blessing to drink from rivers of Christ's fullness.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level6">c. not so the ungodly, days of draught coming; you may have a little joy now.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">3. "Bringeth forth his fruit in his season (not so)..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level6">a. They bring forth no fruit.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level6">b. Some think because they commit no positive sin they are all right.</div>

<div class="SSN_verse"><a onClick="return mV('Jdg',5,23);">JDG 5:23</a> Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the Lord, curse ye bitterly the inhabitants thereof, because they came not to the help of the Lord, to the help of the Lord against the mighty.</div>

|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Is she cursed? Why?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. Did she fight against God? Maybe this is you. You don't fight against God, no enemy of Christ. No fruit! In your season.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. What good are you for Kingdom of God?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. What have you done for Christ?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "His leaf also shall not wither."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">(not so)</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The ungodly man's leaf shall wither.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Man last Sun. night still bringing forth fruit.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. "THE UNGODLY ARE LIKE THE CHAFF (COMPARISON).</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Not even like wild tree (for it has life).</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. Chaff covers the grain the grain alone is useful, the chaff useless and must be driven away.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">Compared to chaff because:</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Fruitless and useless.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Light and unstable, it is base and worthless.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">IV. THE TERRIBLE PROSPECT OF THE WICKED.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">"The wind driveth away."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. How near the chaff is to the rain; envelops.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. How close ungodly relate to righteous ungodly father & godly child covered.</div>
|
|
</div>
|
|
