<h2>351. SEVEN "I HAVE'S" OF PAUL TO TIMOTHY</h2>

<p>1. <b>Remembrance.</b> "<i>I have</i> remembrance of thee" (<a id="fem351-si1" onclick="return mV('2Ti',1,3);">2Ti 1:3</a>). Remembering others at the throne of grace, brings blessing upon
|
|
ourselves, as well as upon them.</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>Faith.</b> "<i>I have</i> believed" (<a id="fem351-si2" onclick="return mV('2Ti',1,12);">2Ti 1:12</a>). The man who has believed in Christ, knows it, and can speak accordingly.</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Committal.</b> "<i>I have</i> committed unto Him" (<a id="fem351-si3" onclick="return mV('2Ti',1,12);">2Ti 1:12</a>). To trust ourselves to the Lord's keeping is to be safe, sure, and happy.</p>
|
|
<p>4. <b>Conflict.</b> "<i>I have</i> fought a good fight" (<a id="fem351-si4" onclick="return mV('2Ti',4,7);">2Ti 4:7</a>). To fight for right and truth, is to fight a good fight.</p>
|
|
<p>5. <b>Completion.</b> "<i>I have</i> finished my course" (<a id="fem351-si5" onclick="return mV('2Ti',4,7);">2Ti 4:7</a>). To look back and see that what we attempted has been accomplished, brings content.</p>
|
|
<p>6. <b>Fidelity.</b> "<i>I have</i> kept the faith" (<a id="fem351-si6" onclick="return mV('2Ti',4,7);">2Ti 4:7</a>). To be faithful, means the "well done" for a reward.</p>
|
|
<p>7. <b>Commission.</b> "Tychicus <i>I have</i> sent to Ephesus" (<a id="fem351-si7" onclick="return mV('2Ti',4,12);">2Ti 4:12</a>). If we cannot go on an errand of mercy, let us send another in our place.</p>
