<div class="SSN_rnum">I. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO REPENT?</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">A. It is not just being sorry.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Many are sorry for what they have done, but they keep on doing it.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "Godly sorrow leads to repentance."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. It is a turning away from, a forsaking.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">1. It's being so sorry that you quit.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. GOD'S FEARFUL JUDGMENTS HERE IN CHAPTER 9.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. Demon hordes out of the abyss.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. Torment for 5 months.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. Death takes a holiday.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Invasion by great army of 200,000,000.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">1. 1/3 of population destroyed.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">C. Why such an awful judgment?</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">1. Men had violated God's laws.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. He gave them the rules for a happy, prosperous, peaceful life.</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">2. They forsook His ways.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">3. What were they doing?</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. Worshipping devils, seeking guidance from:</div>

<div class="SSN_level5">1. Ouigi boards.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. Mediums.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">3. Horoscopes.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">b. Worshipping idols.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level5">1. Man must worship something, it is innate in his being.</div>

<div class="SSN_level5">2. If he does not worship God, he must find a substitute.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level5">3. He mocks you for worshipping God then goes home to worship his boat.</div>

<div class="SSN_level5">4. The folly of worshipping idols. They neither see, hear nor walk.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level4">c. Committing murder.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">d. Using drugs for thrills.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. Committing fornication pressures today.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. Stealing.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. For these causes came the wrath of God.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_rnum">III. "THEY REPENTED NOT." "THEY WOULD NOT TURN AWAY."</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">A. What does it take to bring a man to repentance?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Judgments usually harden a sinner.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. They do bring the righteous to repentance. "When my judgments are in the land..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "Godly sorrow leads to repentance."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. The Bible speaks of Judas' remorse.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. It speaks of Peter's repentance, "wept bitterly."</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">c. It must be a work of God in my life.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level5">1. I cannot create repentance in you.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. I may seek to make you sorry.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level6">a. End up sorry, not that you did it, but that you met me.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. "The goodness of God brings a man to repentance."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. In spite of your sins, God loves you.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Jesus took all your sins on Himself.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. These fearsome judgments only upon those who have rejected His goodness.</div>
