<h2>345. SEEING THE LORD</h2>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Seeing the Lord brings conviction.</b> "I have heard of Thee by the hearing of the ear; but now mine eye <i>seeth</i> Thee" (<a id="fem345-si1" onclick="return mV('Job',42,5);">Job 42:5</a>; <a id="fem345-si2" onclick="return mV('Isa',6,1);">Isa 6:1</a>).</p>

<p>2. <b>Seeing the Lord brings salvation.</b> "Fear ye not, stand still, and <i>see</i> the salvation of the Lord, which He will shew to you today" (<a id="fem345-si3" onclick="return mV('Exd',14,13);">Exd 14:13</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Seeing the Lord as the Object of faith.</b> "But we <i>see</i> Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory" (<a id="fem345-si4" onclick="return mV('Hbr',2,9);">Hbr 2:9</a>).</p>

<p>4. <b>Seeing the Lord brings deliverance.</b> "But when he <i>saw</i> Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him" (<a id="fem345-si5" onclick="return mV('Mar',5,6);">Mar 5:6</a>).</p>

<p>5. <b>Seeing the Lord brings joy.</b> "Then were the disciples glad, when they <i>saw</i> the Lord" (<a id="fem345-si6" onclick="return mV('Jhn',20,20);">Jhn 20:20</a>).</p>

<p>6. <b>Seeing the Lord is attraction.</b> "And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he saith, <i>Behold</i> the Lamb of God" (<a id="fem345-si7" onclick="return mV('Jhn',1,36);">Jhn 1:36</a>).</p>
