|
<p>Seven things the believer in Christ is always to do:―</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Jehovah is to be always the Object before the soul for salvation and strength.</b> "I have set the Lord <i>always</i> before me" (<a id="fem16-si1" onclick="return mV('Psa',16,8);">Psa 16:8</A>).</li>
|
|
<p>2. <b>The garments of the life are always to be kept white by righteousness.</b> "Let thy garments be <i>always</i> white" (<a id="fem16-si2" onclick="return mV('Ecc',9,8);">Ecc 9:8</A>).</li>
|
|
<p>3. <b>The commandments of the Lord are always to be obeyed.</b> "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God, and keep His charge, and His statutes, and His judgments, and His commandments, <i>alway</i>" (<a id="fem16-si3" onclick="return mV('Deu',11,1);">Deu 11:1</A>).</li>

<p>4. <b>Holiness to the Lord is to be the feature in the character.</b> "Holiness to the Lord…<i>always</i>" (<a id="fem16-si4" onclick="return mV('Exd',28,36,37,38);">Exd 28:36-38</A>).</li>
|
|
<p>5. <b>Prayer is the oil that keeps the believer always running smoothly on the rails of truth.</b> "Praying <i>always</i>" (<a id="fem16-si5" onclick="return mV('Eph',6,18);">Eph 6:18</A>).</li>
|
|
<p>6. <b>Joy is always the outcome of the recognition of the Lordship of Christ.</b> "Rejoice in the Lord <i>alway</i>" (<a id="fem16-si6" onclick="return mV('Phl',4,5);">Phl 4:4</A>).</li>
|
|
<p>7. <b>The lamp of testimony will always burn brightly if fed by the oil of the Spirit.</b> "Oil…to cause the lamp to burn <i>always</i>" (<a id="fem16-si7" onclick="return mV('Exd',27,20);">Exd 27:20</A>).</li>
