<h2>324. REDEMPTION</h2>
|
|
<p>1. <b>God is its Author.</b> "Who of God is made unto us Redemption" (<a id="fem324-si1" onclick="return mV('1Cr',1,30);">1Cr 1:30</a>).</li>
|
|
<p>2. <b>The blood of Christ is its purchase price.</b> "In Whom we have redemption through His blood" (<a id="fem324-si2" onclick="return mV('Eph',1,7');">Eph 1:7</a>).</li>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Christ Himself is its Personification.</b> "But of Him are ye in Christ Jesus…redemption" (<a id="fem324-si3" onclick="return mV('1Cr',1,30);">1Cr 1:30</a>).</li>
|
|
<p>4. <b>The Lord Jesus is its depository.</b> "The redemption that is in Christ Jesus" (<a id="fem324-si4" onclick="return mV('Rom',3,24);">Rom 3:24</a>; <a id="fem324-si5" onclick="return mV('Col',1,14);">Col 1:14</a>).</li>

<p>5. <b>Deliverance is its meaning.</b> The word "deliverance" in <a id="fem324-si6" onclick="return mV('Hbr',11,35);">Hebrews 11:35</a>, is the same as rendered "redemption" in other Scriptures.</li>
|
|
<p>6. <b>Christ's coming is its completion.</b> "Waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body" (<a id="fem324-si7" onclick="return mV('Rom',8,23);">Rom 8:23</a>).</li>
|
|
<p>7. <b>The indwelling Spirit of God is its security.</b> "The Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption" (<a id="fem324-si8" onclick="return mV('Eph',4,30);">Eph 4:30</a>; <a id="fem324-si9" onclick="return mV('Eph',1,14);">Eph 1:14</a>).</li>
