<h2>258. "LIBERTY"</h2>
|
|
<p>1. <b>The purpose of Christ.</b> He came "to set at <i>liberty</i>" (<a id="fem258-si1" onclick="return mV('Luk',4,18);">Luk 4:18</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>We are called to liberty.</b> "Ye have been called unto <i>liberty</i>" (<a id="fem258-si2" onclick="return mV('Gal',5,13);">Gal 5:13</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>We have the Spirit of liberty.</b> "Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is <i>liberty</i>" (<a id="fem258-si3" onclick="return mV('Luk',4,18);">2Cr 3:17</a>).
|

<p>4. <b>We have liberty into the presence of God.</b> "Having therefore, brethren, <i>liberty</i> to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus" (<a id="fem258-si4" onclick="return mV('Hbr',10,19);">Hbr 10:19</a>, mar.)</p>

<p>5. <b>We have the law of liberty,</b> which we are to look into. "Whoso looketh into the perfect law of <i>liberty</i> and continueth therein…this man shall be blessed" (<a id="fem258-si5" onclick="return mV('Jam',1,25);">Jam 1:25</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>6. <b>We are to stand fast in the liberty.</b> "Stand fast therefore in the <i>liberty</i> wherewith Christ hath made us free" (<a id="fem258-si6" onclick="return mV('Gal',5,1);">Gal 5:1</a>).</p>
|

<p>7. <b>We are waiting for the glorious liberty.</b> "Delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious <i>liberty</i> of the children of God" (<a id="fem258-si7" onclick="return mV('Rom',8,21);">Rom 8:21</a>).</p>
