<p>Ponder the "wherefore" of <a id="fem134-si6" onclick="return mV('Jdg',12,1);">Hbr 12:1</a>, and observe how the Holy Spirit directs our gaze to the Man of Faith, for He is the Prince and Pattern of faith (not "<i>our</i>" faith, but of faith. The word "<i>our</i>" is in italics). Christ was the One who began, continued, and ended His life in simple confidence; hence we are bidden to look to Him as the Perfect Example of what faith in God accomplishes.</p>
