It has explicitly made the claim of being God's spokesman to the world in numerous articles and books, including the following: The Watchtower, March 15, 1972-p.189; April 1, 1972-p.197, 200; The Nations Shall Know That I Am Jehovah, pp.58 & 70; Holy Spirit, p.148-Remnant, prophesying; p.30-Preaching & prophesying</p></DIV>

<P><b>What the Bible Says about FALSE PROPHETS</b></p>
|
|
<P><B>1. <a id="si-Deu 18:20-22" onClick="return mV('Deu',18,'20-22');">Deu 18:20-22</a> and <a id="si-Mat 7:15-20" onClick="return mV('Mat',7,'15-20');">Mat 7:15-20</a> Provide God's Testing Procedure For A True Prophet:</B></P>

<p>A true prophet would speak in Jehovah's name and the things foretold would come to pass.<p>
|
|
<p>A careful examination of various Society publications reveals that they have made statements and predictions over the years that have not been true or have not come to pass [see EXPOSÉ: of Jehovah's Witnesses, by Erich & Jean Grieshaber for a list of these statements and predictions].</p>
|
|
<p>We find the Society is not able to pass the test of a true Prophet of God. False Prophets are condemned in the Scriptures and we are told to flee from them...</p>
