<p><em>Died:</em> December 7, 1877, St. Marylebone, Middlesex, England.</p>

<p><em>Buried:</em> Abbey Church, Romsey, Buckinghamshire, England (beside her father Gerard Thomas Noel, who had been vicar there).</p>
|
|
<p class=just>Noel began her most productive writing in middle age, after a prolonged illness; she was an invalid for the last quarter century of her life. Her works include:</p>
