<p><em>Born:</em> December 22, 1791, Uley, Gloucestershire, England.</p>
<p><em>Died:</em> April 22, 1853, Stanley Hall (his brother&#8217;s home), Gloucestershire, England.</p>
<p class="just">Lloyd taught Sunday school in Oxford and London. In 1810, he was appointed as one of the secretaries of the British Sunday School Union. In 1816, he became connected with the Religious Tract Society.</p>
