<p><em>Born:</em> 1802, Boston, Massachusetts.</p>
|
|
<p class="just">Furness graduated from Harvard in Arts and Theology, 1820. In 1825, he became a Unitarian pastor in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He was an accomplished scholar, and actively worked on reforms of various kinds. His works include:</p>
