<p>Ahle began studying theology at the University of Erfurt in 1645. In 1649, he accepted a job as organist in St. Blasius Church in M<>hlhausen. He later served on the town council there, and became mayor in 1661. He composed both voice and instrumental works, including about 60 organ pieces.</p>
