Will Anyone Get to the Place Where They Are without Sin?

The Bible does not teach that a person will become without sin in this life. The Apostle John wrote:

If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us...If we say we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us (1Jo 1:8, 10).

This letter, written to believers, makes it clear that we will never reach a sinless state in this life.

The Apostle Paul acknowledged that he had not reached a sinless state.

Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus (Phl 3:12-14).

Be like Him

There will, however, be a time in the future when we are without sin. This will occurs when we see Jesus face to face.

Beloved, now we are the children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is (1Jo 3:2).

Summary

Before we are in His presence we will be sinners. No Christian should consider themself as having arrived. There is always new territory to conquer.
