In the wilderness, Moses brought forth water from a rock. Paul says that rock was symbolic of Christ. Just as Christ, the rock of our foundation, pours forth the water of life, so too shall we as His bride pour forth the same water! And this <i>water</i> is the very Spirit of God, who moves among men as He wills to forward the kingdom of heaven.
