||
<p>Pastor Bill Acton preached the Word with passion for 65 years, always pointing people to the truths of God’s amazing and sovereign grace. Born in 1921 in Nebraska, he moved with his family to Southern California at the age of three. He would eventually study theology at Biola University and receive his M.Div. from California Baptist Seminary. Over the many decades of ministry, he planted 5 churches and ministered at several others. He credits Charles Spurgeon and personal friend, J Vernon McGee, as two of his cherished mentors. Pastor Acton has been married to his beloved wife, Fay, since 1955. They raised a son and two daughters and have five grandchildren. Pastor Acton last served as the discipling pastor at Reverence Bible Church in Southern California. After a long and fruitful life as God's under-shepherd, Pastor Bill went home to his heavenly reward on May 31st, 2018.</p>
