|
|
<p>The following is a sevenfold illustration of the Christian's safety as found in the Old Testament.</p>
|
|
<p>1. <b>Jehovah's name.</b> The safety of the name of Jehovah is as a <b>tower</b> to befriend in the time of need (<a id="fem333-si1" onclick="return mV('Pro',18,10);">Pro 18:10</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>Jehovah's presence.</b> The safety of God's presence is a <b>covering</b> to protect in danger (<a id="fem332-si2" onclick="return mV('Deu',33,2);">Deu 33:12</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>Jehovah's promise.</b> The safety of God's promise is a <b>refuge</b> from the snare of fear (<a id="fem332-si3" onclick="return mV('Pro',24,5);">Pro 24:25</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>4. <b>Jehovah's power.</b> The safety of God's power is an <b>uplifter</b> to put us out of the enemy's reach (<a id="fem332-si4" onclick="return mV('Psa',12,5);">Psa 12:5</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>5. <b>Jehovah's arm.</b> The safety of God's arm is a <b>strengthener</b> to sustain at all times (<a id="fem332-si5" onclick="return mV('Psa',119,117);">Psa 119:117</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>6. <b>Jehovah's leading.</b> The safety of God's leading is a <b>safeguard</b> in all difficulty (<a id="fem332-si6" onclick="return mV('Psa',78,53);">Psa 78:53</a>).</p>
|

<p>7. <b>Jehovah's keeping.</b> The safety of God's keeping is a <b>minister</b> of calm repose (<a id="fem332-si7" onclick="return mV('Psa',4,8);">Psa 4:8</a>).</p>
