<h2>195. HOUSE OF THE LORD</h2>
|
|
<p>1. <b>House of Contemplation.</b> "One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the <i>house of the Lord</i> all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple" (<a id="fem195-si1" onclick="return mV('Psa',37,4);">Psa 37:4</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>2. <b>House of Satisfaction.</b> "They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of Thy <i>house</i>; and Thou shalt make them drink of the river of Thy pleasures" (<a id="fem195-si2" onclick="return mV('Psa',36,8);">Psa 36:8</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>3. <b>House of Praise.</b> "Praise ye the Lord. Praise ye the Name of the Lord; praise Him, O ye servants of the Lord. Ye that stand in the <i>house of the Lord</i>, in the courts of the <i>house</i> of our God" (<a id="fem195-si3" onclick="return mV('Psa',135,1,2);">Psa 135:1-2</a>).</p>

<p>4. <b>House of Fellowship.</b> "We took sweet counsel together and walked unto the <i>house</i> of God in company" (<a id="fem195-si4" onclick="return mV('Psa',55,14);">Psa 55:14</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>5. <b>House of Offerings.</b> "I will go into Thy <i>house</i> with burnt offerings. I will pay Thee my vows" (<a id="fem195-si5" onclick="return mV('Psa',66,13);">Psa 66:13</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>6. <b>House of Growth.</b> "Those that be planted in the <i>house of the Lord</i> shall flourish in the courts of our God" (<a id="fem195-si6" onclick="return mV('Psa',92,13);">Psa 92:13</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>7. <b>House of Holiness.</b> "Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh Thine <i>house</i>, O Lord, for ever" (<a id="fem195-si7" onclick="return mV('Psa',93,5);">Psa 93:5</a>).</p>
|
|
<p>8. <b>House of Testimony.</b> "I will pay my vows unto the Lord now in the presence of all His people. In the courts of the Lord's <i>house</i>, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the Lord" (<a id="fem195-si8" onclick="return mV('Psa',119,18,19);">Psa 116:18-19</a>).</p>

<p>9. <b>House of Blessing.</b> "Blessed be he that cometh in the Name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the <i>house of the Lord</i>" (<a id="fem195-si9" onclick="return mV('Psa',118,26);">Psa 118:26</a>).</p>
|

<p>10. <b>House of Constraint.</b> "I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the <i>house of the Lord</i>. Because of the <i>house of the Lord</i> our God I will seek thy good" (<a id="fem195-si10" onclick="return mV('Psa',122,1,9);">Psa 122:1, 9</a>). "Blessed is the man whom Thou choosest, and causest to approach unto Thee, that he may dwell in Thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of Thy <i>house</i>, even Thy holy temple" (<a id="fem195-si11" onclick="return mV('Psa',65,4);">Psa 65:4</a>).</p>
