<p>Though evil angels are now causing problems in this world, there will come a time when they will be judged.
|

|
|
<p><b>Punish the Heavenly Powers</b>
|
|
<p>The prophet Isaiah spoke of God punishing the powers in the heavens.
|
|
<blockquote><p>On that day the LORD will punish the host of heaven in heaven, and on earth the kings of the earth (<a id="nbi47-si1" onClick="return mV('Isa',24,21);">Isa 24:21</a>).</p></blockquote>
|
|
|
|
<p><b>All Enemies Judged</b>
|
|
<p>Scripture says that Christ will judge all of His enemies.
|
|
<blockquote><p>For He must reign until He has put all his enemies under His feet. The last enemy to be destroyed is death (<a id="nbi47-si2" onClick="return mV('1Cr',15,25,26);">1Cr 15:25-26</a>).</blockquote>
|
|
<p>This certainly includes evil angels.
|
|
|
|
<p><b>All Things Offensive</b>
|
|
<p>When Christ returns, He will judge all things offensive, including the evil angels.
|
|
<blockquote><p>The Son of Man will send His angels, and they will collect out of His kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth (<a id="nbi47-si3" onClick="return mV('Mat',13,41,42);">Mat 13:41-42</a>).</p></blockquote>

<b><br>Bow To the Lord</b>
|
|
<p>The evil angels, along with everything else in creation, will acknowledge Christ as Lord.
|
|
<blockquote><p>Therefore God also highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bend, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father (<a id="nbi47-si4" onClick="return mV('Phl',2,'9-11');">Phl 2:9-11</a>).</blockquote>

|
<p><b>Lake of Fire</b>
|
|
<p>The place that God has created for this ultimate judgment of the evil angels is called the lake of fire.
|
|
<blockquote><p>Then He will say to those at His left, 'You that are accursed, depart from Me into the everlasting fire prepared for the Devil and his angels (<a id="nbi47-si5" onClick="return mV('Mat',25,41);">Mat 25:41</a>).</p></blockquote>
|
|
|
|
<p><b>Final Place</b>
|
|
<p>The lake of fire, or eternal death, will be the final destination of the evil angels. The Bible says that the eternal fire was prepared for the express purpose of judging these evil angels. This is a place of everlasting torment.
|
|
<blockquote><p>And the Devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever (<a id="nbi47-si6" onClick="return mV('Rev',20,10);">Rev 20:10</a>).</p></blockquote>
|
|
<p>Therefore, the rampage caused by evil angels will not continue forever.
|
|
|
|
<p><b>Summary</b>
|
|
<p>Evil angels will eventually have the same fate as their master, Satan. During the time of the prophet Isaiah, God promised to judge these rebellious beings. Jesus said that the lake of fire was specially prepared for them. They will be confined to this place of judgment forever. Consequently, their sinning against God will not be something that will continue forever. There will be an end to the sin and pain they cause - thanks to the sinless life, the death, and the resurrection of Jesus Christ.<br>
