<p>Jesus' past ministry consisted of living a perfect life, dying for the sins of the world, and coming back from the dead. His present ministry is looking out for those who believe in Him. The Bible also has much to say about His future ministry.</p>

<p><b>Jesus Will Return to Earth</b></p>
|
|
<p>Jesus Christ has promised to come to earth a second time.</p>
|
|
<blockquote><p>Do not let your heart be troubled; believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself, that where I am, there you may be also (<a id="nbi1360-si1" onClick="return mV('Jhn',14,'1-3');">Jhn 14:1-3</a>).</p></blockquote>

<p><b>He Will Raise the Dead</b></p>
|
|
<p>When Christ returns He will raise the dead. Jesus said.</p>
|
|
<blockquote><p>Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out—those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned (<a id="nbi1360-si2" onClick="return mV('Jhn',5,28,29);">Jhn 5:28-29</a>).</p></blockquote>

<p><b>Jesus Will Judge All Humanity</b></p>
|
|
<p>After the dead are raised Jesus will judge humanity.</p>
|
|
<blockquote><p>When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will put the sheep on his right and the goats on his left (<a id="nbi1360-si3" onClick="return mV('Mat',25,'31-33');">Mat 25:31-33</a>)</p></blockquote>

<p><b>Jesus Will Rule Forever</b></p>
|
|
<p>He will rule forever as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. This will fulfill the promise that the angel Gabriel made to Mary when he told her of the coming birth of Jesus.</p>
|

<blockquote><p>He will be great, and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give him the throne of his father David; and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever; and his kingdom will have no end (<a id="nbi1360-si4" onClick="return mV('Luk',1,32,33);">Luk 1:32-33</a>).</p></blockquote>

<p><b>Summary</b></p>
|
|
<p>There is a future ministry for Jesus Christ. Christ has promised to come again to this earth. When He returns He will raise the dead, judge all humanity, and then rule forever as king of kings and Lord of Lords.</p>
