<p>The Bible says that God is a jealous God. In the Ten Commandments we read.</p>

You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me (<a id="nbi1287-si1" onClick="return mV('Exd',20,4,5);">Exd 20:4-5</a>).</p></blockquote>

<p><b>His Is Not like Human Jealously</b></p>
|
|
<p>The jealousy of God is not the same as human jealousy. God's jealousy is a godly jealousy. Paul wrote of such a thing.</p>

<blockquote><p>I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him (<a id="nbi1287-si2" onClick="return mV('2Cr',11,2);">2Cr 11:2</a>).</p></blockquote>

<p><b>Summary</b></p>

|
<p>The Bible says that God is a jealous God. However the jealousy of God is not the same as human jealously. The jealousy of the Lord is a godly jealousy.</p>
