<div class="SSN_rnum">I. THIS FIRST "COME" IS A PRAYER.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. It is in response to the statement of Christ, "Behold, I come quickly." vs. 7,12.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Jesus proclaimed Himself, the bright and morning star.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. The morning star always proceeds the new day.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. So His coming will herald the dawning of a new day for this world.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. A day of peace, gladness, rejoicing, victory.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. This prayer seems to grow more urgent.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. The world is like a powder keg, there are so many lit fuses. The only question is which one will ignite first.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. Not all the church is joining in this prayer.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Some praying, "Wait."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. For us to finish this project.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. For us to perfect ourselves.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Those who are in tune with the Spirit say, "Come."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. Why do we pray "Come."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. We're sick of the bitter fruit of man's rebellion. Sin, greed, strife, hatred, hypocrisy.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. We know what His coming will mean.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Restoration.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">1. You see not the world as God created it.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level5">2. You do not see man as God intended.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. Let him that heareth say, "Come."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. "He that hath an ear to hear."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. THE SECOND "COME" IS AN INVITATION.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. An invitation to the thirsty.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. All men are thirsty, their spirit crying out for God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Through the Bible invitations given to thirsty men.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. <a onClick="return mV('Isa',55,1);">Isa. 55</a>, "Ho, everyone that thirsteth."</div>

<div class="SSN_level3">3. Man today seeking to quench his thirst with cokes.</div>

<div class="SSN_level4">a. Experience in Israel.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level4">b. Just left us thirstier.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Wealth, fame, sex, booze, drugs.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">"Why do you labor for that which satisfies not?"</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">4. A true relationship with Jesus Christ is the only truly satisfying experience of life.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">5. This water of life is available today for you. And whosoever will."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. THE LAST PROMISE IN THE BIBLE VS. 20.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">Surely, I come quickly.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">The last prayer, "Even so, come Lord Jesus."</div>
