<div class="SSN_title">"YOU MUST OPEN THE DOOR."</div>
<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: The message of Jesus, the faithful witness to the Laodician church no longer a true witness. No longer holding to the divine authorship and inerrancy of the scriptures, the deity of Christ, the lukewarm church has put Christ out. Salvation is an individual matter, He stands at the door of your heart and knocks.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">I. CONSIDER WHO IT IS, WHO IS KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR?</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. Jesus Christ, the Son of God.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Perhaps you have faulted the innkeeper in the Christmas story for not making room.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. Just think, "He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, the world knew..."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. But now He comes to you, He is knocking at your door.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Will you receive Him?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. He fills the universe, "The heavens of heavens cannot contain Him."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. He wants to fill your heart.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He wants to be at home in your life.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">II. "IF ANY MAN WILL HEAR MY VOICE AND OPEN THE DOOR."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. He is speaking to you today, can you hear His voice?</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Maybe you scoff at us who claim to hear His voice, even feel a little sorry.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. You don't know how sorry I feel for you if you have never heard His voice.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">3. That small inner tugging to do right.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">4. He sometimes uses drastic means to get your attention.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Loss of job, family, home.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Better you lose those than lose your soul.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "And open the door..."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He knocks, He calls, but He will not open the door.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. He will never make a forced entry into your life.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He only comes in by invitation.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He leaves the choice up to you.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. He makes His offers of life, hope, joy, peace, then leaves it to you to accept or reject.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He wants to give you a rich inheritance for eternity, but He will never force you to take it.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. You must open the door.</div>
<div class="SSN_rnum">III. "I WILL COME IN TO HIM, AND SUP WITH HIM."</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">A. What the Lord is seeking today is a close intimate fellowship with you.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He can't stand these lukewarm relationships. "All or nothing at all."</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. He loves you so much, He wants your life to center around Him.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. He knows how empty and disappointing any other focal point becomes.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">c. He doesn't want a casual relationship, He desires a total relationship.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">d. He wants far more than occasional communion, He wants constant communion.</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">2. The message of Christ knocking at the door is primarily to the lukewarm saint rather than the sinner.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. How long since you told Him how much you love Him?</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. How long since you have experienced the ecstasy of sitting with Him just holding His hand?</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">c. How long since your heart flamed with His love?</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">B. "I will eat supper with you."</div>
<div class="SSN_level3">1. This speaks of the deepest most intimate kind of relationship.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">a. I will become a part of you.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">b. You will become a part of me.</div>
<div class="SSN_level4">c. We will become a part of each other.</div>
<div class="SSN_level2">C. He's knocking today at your lukewarm heart, what are you going to do about it?</div>
