<div class="SSN_intro">Intro: Jesus entered and passed through Jericho" Why? Zacchaeus who he was, He sought to see Jesus, "who He was." Received Jesus joyfully. When "they" saw it "they all" murmured. The closed door. Zacchaeus declaration of restitution and restoration. A changed man, from greed to generosity. He had gone in mastered by the power to give something happened inside, what? Salvation. "For the Son of man has come to seek and to save...lost."</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">I. WHAT DOES IT MEAN TO BE "LOST?"</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">A. We have heard of people losing their health.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">B. We have heard of people losing their reputation.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level2">C. We have heard of people losing their loved one.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">D. We have heard of people losing their fortune.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. Jesus means the loss of soul.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Lost from God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. "What should it profit a man if he..."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. The most tragic experience one could ever know.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">F. I would rather go through life sick and when I die go to heaven then... I would rather go through life a pauper.</div>

<div class="SSN_rnum">II. WHEN IS A PERSON LOST?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. In life you are a loss to yourself.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Not knowing the peace, love or joy of God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. You see, things from self-centered view. Seeking to save your life you lose it.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. You never come into full bloom. A bud that never opens to full beauty, life does not give off lovely fragrance.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. You are a loss to your family.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. You fail them in the most important area.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. You may provide for them materially.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. You may give them love and security.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. Failing to lead and guide them into the most vital realms-spiritual.</div>
|

<div class="SSN_level3">2. You do not enter into the fullest relationship.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">C. You are a loss to your community.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. You may be active in community affairs.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. You may be interested in community good.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. The greatest community need is spiritual... To see a living example of true Christianity.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">D. You are a loss to God.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. He created you for fellowship.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He created you that you might love Him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">E. In death the moment your soul and spirit leave your body your fate is sealed.</div>
|
|

|

<div class="SSN_level2">B. Procrastination.</div>

<div class="SSN_level2">C. Because you refuse to accept God's provision for your salvation.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. What must I do to be saved?</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. What must I do to be lost? Nothing.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_rnum">IV. THE MISSION OF JESUS UPON THE EARTH.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">A. "To seek and to save."</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Some do not want to be saved.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">a. Possible to go so far you scoff at idea.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">b. Young people in Copenhagen.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">c. You can be sure, He will not save you against your will.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level2">B. He is seeking you out today.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">1. Your coming here not by accident.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">2. He is offering you salvation.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level3">3. You are like a drowning man who has had a life buoy tossed to him.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">You may take hold and be saved.</div>
|
|
<div class="SSN_level4">You may reject and be lost.</div>
|
|
